Windows Media Center Tip: Run the Xbox Extender from the Hard Drive

If you’re worried about constantly running your Xbox Media Center extender (because the extender cd has to be in the drive) then you can always install the extender software to the hard drive of the Xbox. Of course, in order to do this, you will have to add a mod chip and install a program like XBMC which is an open-source multimedia player for the Xbox.
