Record Audio From Any Source and Convert DVR-MS Files with Media Made Easy Tools
Media Made Easy has two plugins available for Windows Media Center: Easy Audio Recorder and DVRMS Toolbox.
Easy Audio Recorder records whatever audio is playing on your computer. So with this program you could record internet radio or the audio from recorded TV shows. I’ve been looking for a program to get the audio from my SoundStage concerts.
DVRMS Toolbox allows you to convert recorded TV in the DVRMS format to other formats including MPEG and WMV. You can also edit commercials with this program as well. It looks like it uses the DVR2WMV program to convert to WMV. This looks like a nice interface inside Media Center to convert and edit your DVR-MS files.

The version of DVRMSToolbox included in that tool is ancient. The current version is on TGB. http://www.thegreenbutton.com/community/shwmessage.aspx?ForumID=26&MessageID=113435

Excellent! I am reading exactly everything I have desired to do, but the link returns as "404 Not Found".
