Convert Your Gas Lawn Mower to Solar

This was a cool project where an old gas lawn mower was converted to an electric mower and charged off of a solar panel! Basically you pull off the gas engine and put on an electric motor with a battery and then use a solar panel to keep the battery charged. The total cost of the project was around 700 dollars and seeing how you can buy an electric lawn mower for around 300 dollars this is definitely more of a concept project than a practical project. But you could modify this project to add a battery to your existing electric mower and with a solar panel never have to plug it in again!
